Lead Product Designer (Contract) — design system consistency across customer-facing web, internal portals, and LCBO purchase & e-commerce platforms.
Senior Product Designer — Enterprise & Startup Systems
I design systems that let the work do the talking.
About
I've spent 5+ years designing inside regulated banks, trading-adjacent platforms, and early-stage startups — building the interface systems that decide whether users trust a product enough to stay.
From a treasury-reporting tool used by internal clients and external traders to founding-designer roles at two startups, my work sits at the intersection of complex systems and clean execution — component libraries, Figma-to-Anima-to-React handoff, and interfaces that hold up under real constraints, not ideal ones.
-
01
Comfortable in ambiguity
I don't wait for a fully-formed brief. I help frame the problem when no one's sure what it is yet.
-
02
Systems over screens
I design the model underneath the interface — states, flows, edge cases — so the product scales past version one.
-
03
Fluent in real-world constraints
Compliance, legacy systems, runway, headcount — whatever the constraint, it's a design input, not an excuse.

The engagement that best shows how I work at scale, plus three roles that show the range — regulated banking, internal tooling, and a multi-platform product suite.
Building the design system behind BMO's commercial banking platform
As lead designer on the O-LBB platform, I own cross-platform interface consistency and maintain the design system that keeps BMO's commercial banking tools cohesive at scale.

The rest of the résumé — a contract role, a civic project, and two startups I helped build from the ground up.
Associate Product Designer — built the MyMilton city-wide app from 0 to 1, City Hall touchscreen kiosks, the Events Hub & complaint portal, and the mobile brand guide.
Founding Designer, ~1 year — OHANA's "Be Free" platform lets people own and earn from their own telecom & data instead of paying for it.
Founding Designer, ~1 year — a caregiving marketplace connecting seniors and their families with vetted, trustworthy caretakers.
Process
How the work actually happens.
Not a rigid ritual — a repeatable way of reducing risk before pixels get precious.
Discover
I start with the business problem, not the design brief. Interviews, analytics, support tickets, and sales call recordings tell me more than a Figma file ever will.
Frame
Before any UI, I align the team on what we're actually solving, how we'll know it worked, and what real constraints — technical, regulatory, timeline — the design has to live inside.
Design
I work in flows and states before screens, then bring the same rigor to typography, spacing, and motion — the details that separate "functional" from "fundable."
Validate
Assumptions get tested with real users before engineering commits real time. I'd rather be wrong in a prototype than wrong in production.
Ship & measure
I stay through launch — phased rollouts, dashboards to track the metrics we set in step two, and a retro on what the system should learn next.
Proof
Trusted with enterprise complexity, fast enough for startup speed.
I've shipped inside regulated banks and founded design at early-stage startups — the same rigor applies either way.
-
→
Embedded, not outsourced
I join standups and sprint planning — I design with the team's context, not around it.
-
→
Fluent with engineering
Figma flows and Anima prototypes handed off React-ready, so what ships matches what was designed.
